Terms of Use

The rules you accept when you create an identity in PCall.

Accepting these terms

Creating or importing an identity in PCall means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

Your account is your key

Your identity is a private key held on your device and nowhere else. Keeping the recovery phrase safe is your responsibility, and we cannot recover an account without it — not for you and not for anybody claiming to be you.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour

PCall carries content that people write themselves. You are responsible for what you send and post, and the following are not allowed anywhere in the app — in chats, in group chats, in the Social feed, or in your profile:

Reporting, blocking and what we do about it

Every message, contact, post and comment has a Report action, and every contact can be blocked. Blocking is immediate and does not wait for us.

Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. Accounts that post objectionable content or behave abusively are removed, and we may remove content or an account without notice where the content is illegal or someone is at risk.

No warranty

PCall is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. It is not a substitute for emergency services: it cannot call an emergency number.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including loss of data or of an account whose recovery phrase was lost.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms.
